Nature and art – fused

Where nature and form converge.

Botanik Arc is a study in sculptural calm. A collection of planters shaped not just by design, but by a deeper understanding of material, function, and time.

Founded on the belief that objects can hold both presence and purpose, we create vessels that frame life with weight, stillness, and intention.

Each edition is cast in sand and built to endure. Not as ornament, but as quiet companions to the spaces they inhabit.

A brand shaped by experience.

Botanik Arc was founded by Martijn Koelewijn, a designer with a background in engineering and close to two decades of working with materials built to endure in the world’s most demanding environments.

That technical lineage informs everything we make: from material choice to environmental awareness, from durability to detail.

Botanik Arc exists to bring sculptural presence into everyday spaces. It reflects a lifetime of technical precision, global experience, and material fluency — but above all, it reflects care.

This is a practice of making less and making it matter.

We create planters – and only planters – released in thoughtfully curated collections.
Not seasonal, not reactive.
But timeless.
Each piece designed to feel both grounded and rare.
Familiar, yet unlike anything else.
– Martijn Koelewijn

Jill — the first form.

Named after Martijn’s daughter, Jill was the first planter in the collection. The name carries weight, not just as a gesture of intimacy, but as a philosophy.

To design is to nurture. To shape something that supports, protects, and grows with time.

Each Jill planter reflects that principle. Numbered, engraved, and made with intention. It is designed to root itself into your space and stay.
